In 1995, the first nomadic treks got under way with one covered waggon and 2 horses.
In 2001, the peace pilgrimage was held, known by its Dutch acronym, Vea, for Peace and Unity on Earth. This successful six-month trek with three covered waggons, one large typee, six horses, Julio the donkey and sixteen goats, was filmed by "Napels Zien" and broadcast in episodes on VRT TV1 and later once again as a documentary (± 50 min.).
